Script editor freezes when zooming

Godot 4.2

Question

Every time I zoom in or out on my code in the script editor, the entire engine freezes for 1-2 seconds.Did I not set something up correctly?

I face this issues on Mac too and it’s annoying.

I have the same issue on Windows. Maybe it’s worth opening a new issue on github

it’s a bug in godot 4.1 and 4.2
but it’s not important and don’t affect the project
i have the same issue

It’s extremely frustrating at times though, esp. for those with touchpads since it’s very easy to accidentally pinch.

Supposedly there was a patch for Godot 4.2.2-stable, but in my experience, this is still an issue, not necessarily with zooming only, but scrolling and zooming together still seems to randomly lock up at times.
