So, does godot cap the fps of a project by default now?

I thought i had to do it myself through code, but it appears that in the latest godot version, the maximum framerate of a project is locked to 60 by default. This is perfectly fine (and actually a little convenient) for the project im working in right now, but i tried changing this number myself (in the project settings AND code) and it LITERALLY DIDNT WORK.

nvm its just my crappy laptop i changed it to 30 and it worked

(please dont close this forum tho i know the pain of finding someone with your exact issue only to realize theyre dumb and forgot to enable this one thing but you did enable said thing and it still didnt work for some reason but you cant reply cus the topic was closed)
