Strange grid snap behavior when using 'relative snap'?

I turned on the editor’s grid snap to move the nodes in the viewport of my scene, “relative snap” is turned on, when I move the node using the transform in the inspector, the grid (from the grid snap) moves (changes), when I move the node with the ‘selection tool’ or ‘move tool’ the grid (from grid snap) does not move (change)!

Does anyone know if this behavior is normal?
