Stuttering when running game

I’m making a 2d Platformer in Godot and have just a basic character controller done (it’s literally just the template) and whenever I play it there’s this awful rubberbanding/jittering effect as seen in this video. I have no idea what to do, please help.

Did the same happen when you export the project? I had the same sometimes in Debug mode.

And take a look at the profiler, if you see some frame drops or something.

I would just like to say I am experiencing the same issue and it has really put a halt any usage of Godot4.2.1. Yes, it still occurs in a build of the project. It is very difficult to find anyone who has been able to fix this issue in 4.2.1 anywhere. If anyone is able find a fix for this please post it here.
