technical issue with tile map

4.2.2 Godot Version

I’m new to Godot and I don’t know why but whenever I try to use the tile map node it does a wired visual glitch.
Not in any project but in the Godot editor. Is this an issue caused by my pc or is it an issue with Godot?

that is not a glitch… and you didn’t show the tree, the part of the editor that would clear this up.

nodes in godot are rendered in the order they appear in the tree, from first to last.

your player is probably located before the tilemap in the tree.
