Question
I’m using a node-based state machine and I’m having some trouble with some of the functions.
I’m currently using two TileMapLayers for the ground and the rope itself, and I’m using physics layers (for the rope hitbox) and custom data layers (for the climbable tag and a float what pixel the player should snap to)
The problem is when I have rope that is on top of each other vertically, and I’m wondering if there is an easier way of doing this, such as just using Area2Ds to designate where the ladders are and not using physics layers for the tiles at all.
