Unwanted crispy 2D graphics

Godot Version

4.5, 4.6

Question

Why are lines being displayed so crisply? With different zoom and positioning of the camera, horizontal lines are also seen to be changing width, as if snapping to pixels instead of smoothing between them.

I couldn’t find the setting that is responsible for it. I tried tinkering with options in Project → Rendering → 2D/Anti Aliasing and nothing made a difference.

Might the issue lie with my PC’s graphic settings? I am using Nvidia with Xorg.

How are you drawing the hexagons (Sprite2D, Line2D, Polygon2D, custom drawing)?

2D MSAA will not affect Sprite2D. If you get grainy visuals on sprites, try enabling Mipmaps on the texture in the Import dock.
