What is the best workflow to export 3D models with FBX?

I’m a Maya user and recently I try to import a model to Godot with animations at first I did the workflows I used to use in others engine like a file with model and the other with model and animation, but I could’t configure it in engine with AnimationPlayer, after I tried put the animation in one file in the same timeline and slice in advanced window, some animation didn`t play well. Then exported to blender and create a file with dope sheet and export as glTF but how I not blender user I probably configure it bad.
