Where to find posts for collaboration on game ideas and assets?

Is there an area here where members talk about and can contribute game ideas and game assets?

Showcase > Games looks like an area for this but I’m not sure if this is for finished projects only?

The Showcase category covers more than finished games – About the Showcase category

On the other hand, nothing about game ideas is specific to a game engine. Implementation of game ideas would be. Assets can be specific to game engines, but often are not.

What kind of interactions are you looking for? An example might be helpful in identifying where the conversations should take place.

Good question - I guess I was interested in what people might be looking for when creating a game. I am still exploring what I might be able to contribute to a game (as many here might be) so I will look at the assets and games that are showcased.

People are looking for a wide variety of things.

What do you specialize in, and what do you want to do?

I was a Photoshop retoucher for many years. I like and practice drawing. I’ve been learning 3D and (basic) game development in my own time for a while.

I’m looking to see if I can use these things and collaborate with others.

The thumbnails below are tiles from my website in my profile.

I’ve included some 2D art but these are all things I have done a little of in my own learning.

Hey thanks for the link @tomcat, I will check this out.

I was going to say (looking at all the expertise here), I don’t have a lot of experience modelling and texturing for games but this is what I am looking to contribute to if possible.
