Wierd 3d scene artifacts when using godot on Fedora

I’ve just downloaded Godot on my Fedora 39 workstation and its running really poorly.

I get these artifacts for 3d scenes and moving the camera maxes out my cpu. Ive tried updating my drivers to no avail. I have no idea where to start with this so if someone could at least point me in a direction that would be great.
