Windows Defender warns me that the Godot 4.6.3 executable is dangerous

Can someone help me determine if this file is safe? I want a very thorough check because, apart from Windows Defender, I don’t have anything else on my PC, so I don’t know what will happen if I get infected.

It’s safe.

Just click “open anyway” when you get the “Windows protected your PC” dialog.

Where did you download Godot from? Make sure you ONLY download it from https://godotengine.org/

if you got it from Download for Windows – Godot Engine , its safe. if not, don’t open it.

See things like this report it’s due to how Windows Defender works and how it establishes safe programs, reporting it as a false positive will help fix this problem
