Without Godot supporting FMOD, is there any other way to make the sound of an EV?

Godot Version

Question

I'm making a game about drag racing, and I need to highlight the sound effects of gear shifting and EV racing. The current solution doesn't seem to work. GODOT doesn't fully support FMOD, which is sad for me. Is there any other way to make EV motor sounds?

Unfortunately, I’m having trouble parsing what exactly the question is.

Is it simply how to make sound effects for an in-game EV? Perhaps you’re asking for a way to code the sound effects into the game?

There are gaps in the information I’m receiving. A more complete picture of what you want and what you’ve tried would be beneficial to getting the answers you want.

Here are the two questions:

  1. I need software similar to FMOD for simulating EV motor sounds, but FMOD is not supported. Are there any alternatives?

  2. What plugins can be used in Godot to program car racing sound effects?

There are godot fmod plugins, at least this one is up to date; I haven’t tried it myself.

You may have to be more specific for what kind of sound effect you hope to achieve. If you only need to pitch shift as the engines rev up then that is possible through Godot’s audio players.
