Editor hover-overlay hints / tipps are mostly black and unreadable

Hi all,

I’m using Godot on Linux (Fedora 39 KDE in the past, got a new computer installed Bazzite (Fedora 40 KDE) now) and most of the UI hints / tipps (not sure what they are called, so it’s hard to search for this) are just black squares for me:

Some of them work when I move the mouse a tiny bit after the black square appears:

Had an Intel CPU before, now it’s AMD, NVIDIA GPUs on both systems.

This has been bugging me for some time (since these can be quite helpful) and I was wondering if this is a known issue or someone has an idea of how to fix it, what to check.

EDIT: Iiiiiiinteresting, I just thought I’d test with the non-flathub-version (v4.2.2.stable.official [15073afe3], so downloaded directly from the website) and it looks like the problem doesn’t appear there. I was sure I was using that version in the past as well. Anyway, this just has become a lot less urgent for me ^ _ ^
