just like this Answer recommends:

Should the Phases in my Envelope Generator Node be Resources?

I have searched what other Godot Users think of custom Resources in general and found that they share my Opinion exactly. Custom Resources are meant exactly for Uses like this, so the stable Version of my Add‑on will store Envelope Phases in custom Resources.
