Godot Version
4.7
Question:
Hello! I need some help with my Godot game, as it doesn’t render any non-canvas objects at all, making the whole thing pitch black. I exported it with compatibility renderer.
Here’s how the game looks like on mobile web:
And what it’s supposed to look like (this is on my laptop):
What I noticed is that previously, when I exported it to web on Godot 4.6, it rendered the big, grey part of the map as pitch black:
I’ve tried getting rid of a canvas object that covers the whole screen (it was for a shader), but to no avail, heck, I doubt it’s something to do with the canvas at all! Even when it’s pitch black, the game still runs perfectly fine on mobile, sounds and everything! It’s just that the player can’t see a thing.
And I do have an WorldEnvironment object, but it’s only for making bright objects glow and volumetric fog before I switched to compatibility. Also, it seems that only my phone has this problem, all my other friends who I’ve shared this game with can render the whole 3D environment perfectly fine, except for mine. Maybe this is an issue with performance?
If anyone could help, I’d be very grateful, because I wanna have my game to be playable on mobile. If I’m missing any important details that might help, let me know! ![]()
Thank you,
Spykra
