Godot theme is not applying

Question

Hi, I’m using Godot and wanted to apply the “godot minimal theme” from passive_star on Github.

I was watching a GameFromScratch tutorial on it, but nothing seems to happen. Also Godot itself doesn’t match what i see on the video.

This is after the minimal theme on both:

• My Install (top)

• Video (bottom)

Is there something wrong with my Godot install? I used the website version (the latest download from the Download - Godot Engine page)

I want to apply the theme but it wont do anything.

I ran into a similar issue myself when trying to install this theme.

Did you get any errors in output when restarting Godot after applying the theme?

I use Godot 4.3 Dev 5, and to my surprise, it turns out that the latest version of the theme is not compatible with it or previous versions.

I had to download I think 1.2 instead. Re-read the github page of the theme and ensure you are using the correct version for your version of Godot.

Yeah I re-read the github page.
Turns out I needed the 1.2.1 version (I was using 1.3.0)
