This page explains how you can use and set up tilemaps, including collisions for them.
Once you have this, you can simply monitor for collisions in your player object, and add any value to any variable you wish!
If you use terrains you can use set_cells_terrain_connect().. if it’s just regular tiles you can use set_cell().. either of those two functions can be used to edit or remove tiles.. i’m, using godot 4.5 tho.. i apologize if it’s slightly different..
