Godot Version
In a couple of weeks, I plan to start putting out videos breaking down some of the most important parts of building a Metroidvania like Hollow Knight in Godot. It will also double as a showcase of my recent exploration in the same space. It will include a breakdown of art, enemy behavior, boss design, abilities, combat, and other mechanics.
