How to make a metroidvania with a good camera/room system

i want to make a godd 2D hand drawn metroidvania and also it should have a good camera and room sytem but i dont find any tutorials for it

Phantom Camera is a really cool plugin for flexible camera control

As far as rooms go, I think you should develop your own system, it’s really specific to each game. Maybe start by seeing how to instantiate scenes and go from there

Definitely. There has been no performance dip I’ve noticed.

i have a better idea,i could make a camera pan system like in the met sys addon, that will boost performance, take less time, and be good.also i think my metroidvania will be done in the year 2035!its kind of a lot but will be worth the time
