Issue with the fade feature in godot 4.3 of richtext label

Question

I was testing out the rich label text node on godot and I observed that fade isn’t working correctly. I tested the demo linked on richlabeltext’s class reference and that isn’t working too. Is there a different way of doing it compared to godot 4.2 or is this a bug?

Can you show how you set up the fade effect? What exactly happens wrong?
