Little Things & Little Things Forever - Native -> Unity -> Godot

Little Things was first released 17 years ago for Big Fish Games. It was then one of the first games release on iPad in 2010. It was coded in an old C/C++ engine called PTK. When I started working on the sequel Little Things Forever in 2012 I decided to start over and port the game to Unity. Last year I decided to bite the bullet and port both games to Godot engine and try to support as many platforms as possible! Doing some GDExtension dancing it’s now available on the App Store as a Universal app using iCloud Key Value Store to share progress. It’s available on Google Play and supporting phones, tablets and Chromebook. Finally it’s on both itch.io and Steam for Mac, PC and Linux including Steam deck! It was quite challenging with the Mac version to ensure that Steamworks was included in the Steam build, but NOT included in the App Store Version. I couldn’t find any existing plugins which were capable of that.

Did I mention it’s localised into 24 languages? I used the movie maker to create 24 trailers for each of the games. Finally I decided to go all out and support mouse, touch, controller and it even plays fantastically well in the Vision Pro.

Little Things is a particularly unique hidden object game where each stage is built from hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of hidden objects. You can be asked to find any of the objects inside the mosaic so the game is endlessly repayable.

I hope you get a chance to buy it and play - especially on Steam where I desperately need some more reviews!
