Requesting assistance on developing a not-so-well documented movement mechanic

Question Contents

I am looking to develop a First-person shooter that takes place in space. However I don’t want to be cheap with how you move around through the vacuum and have your angles be locked-down like a grounded FPS.

I’m sure one or two of you have heard of Outer Wilds or Boundary, and how the space suit flight is handled in those respective titles. I’m looking for help to develop that very movement mechanic, then leave this post for others to look upon should they ever need it.

I’ll continue to try things out and hope for the best, catch you all around later.
