Non-uniform scale on collider/area3D

Question

Scaling a collider in a “linked” asset should, in my humble opinion, be very very allowed!

So my question is: Is it really that bad???

I observe that detection works fine, it doesnt yield strange results, but the little yellow triangle and the warnings in the log is really annoying.

You can disable some warnings I think in Project settings.

But they put out the warning because they know it has issues. It might happens as you expand your project later on so do it as your own risk.

the only reason for this warning, i think, is the danger of having a rotated shape inside a scaled parent. THAT is not good in almost any engine, if any at all.
