Pixel Become Human-FAN GAME: The Hostage - A FREE, Deeply Branching 2D Narrative Game Built Solo in Godot

Hello fellow Godot developers! :waving_hand:

I’m excited to showcase my latest project: Pixel Become Human: The Hostage. As a solo dev, I spent 3 months building this FREE 2D narrative game using the Godot Engine.

The biggest challenge wasn’t the pixel art, but designing a complex, deeply branching narrative structure where every player choice truly mattered (inspired by Detroit: Become Human). I’m happy to share technical details about how I managed the state and branching within Godot!
