Problem with choosing the tile set size

Godot 4.4.1

I am working with two artists on a 2d platformer. they drawn a 500 by 500 pixels tileset. and my game resolution is 1080 by 720. so the tiles are huge.
we used 500 pixels because the artists use photoshop with a light pen and our game’s look is something like hollow knight or castle crashers. ( not pixel art .we don’t want pixelated textures).
what’s the best thing to do here? should i scale down the tilemap in godot or choose a smaller tile res? my characters are already scaled down.

its useful to scale down the tileset for the sake of game size, if your resolution is 1080x720 the tileset should remain sharp
