Shader ported from Godot 3.5 to Godot 4 not working properly

I used to have a couple of shaders that worked ok in Godot 3, but are not when using Godot 4.

In Godot 4.2 it definitely does not look as it should!

I’ve uploaded a working example for both versions here.

Is this a mistake on my part or a bug?

The download link on the other forum cant be downloaded. Are there shader codes inside the zip?

That’s odd, I just downloaded them a moment ago to test it. Two test projects are in there, not just the shaders. I’ll try and upload them someplace else.

Added them on Google Drive instead, thanks for pointing out that the link did not work.

i downloaded and tested on my end, even copied the same code from 3.5 to 4.1 still didnt get the result you got on 3.5.

Do you mean the shader did not work for you in either of the versions, or that it did? Still it’s odd either way.

i mean using the shader code of 3.5 to 4.1, At 4.1 still got what you got on 4.2
