ShaderV asset Help

Godot Version



How do I make a shader out of the Shaderv asset files that I can apply to my sprite at runtime? Specifically trying to use the Distortion UV Animated on a sprite at runtime and not applied in the editor.

The ShaderV asset I’m talking about is this guy:

So I ended up saving the material as a .tres from the example file, swapping out the sourced image texture to perform the shader on, then preloaded the texture and applied the shader to the image.material property and it works as expected.

Kind of a weird work around but I got it working!
