Unrecognized UID error

Question

I opened my godot and was greeted with this error message “Unrecognized UID: “uid://c3lxdmlo77hyi”.” I don’t really know what this means and I couldn’t find a solution online.

one of your resources may have been deleted while still having owners, this can happen when deleting files outside of the editor

is there any way to fix this?

I have no idea, is there a missing scene or resource? Does this appear when specifically opening any scenes? Have you tried deleting the .godot folder?

it only appears when i save or open the project

ive deleted the .godot folder and restarted the editor, however the error still appears
