That post looks a little higher-effort since there seems to be a face behind it, even if it’s still AI-assisted. There’s definitely a bit of a grey area, so I don’t want to risk being too critical when at least some human effort has gone into a project.
I was referring to more blatant AI posts that were lower effort than that when I wrote this:

Free Croissant PNG Asset for Cozy 2D Games | LUNEXA
[Resources] Massive 2D Asset Bundle for Game Jams + A Spooky HTML5 Minigame!
NexusFX — 9 Real-Time 2D VFX for Godot 4.6
Just to name a few
I’ve seen an uptick in low-effort Showcase posts just in the past week as well:
More examples
POP'EM! — an open-source Godot puzzle game looking for first-play feedback
Atlas Bird — a Godot Android flying adventure, feedback welcome
All of these:
- Use AI extensively within the project itself
- Have overly verbose descriptions written by AI
- Are posted by users with private profiles that have no other interaction on the forum
- Are advertising paid or freemium versions (at least the resources are, while some of the games contain ads or other monetization)
