How to diagnose a game crash from the editor

I'm working on my game on MacOS and running in the editor, sometimes it will just crash and quit. The editor is still running but there are no logs or error showing in the output window. Where can I look for error logs or a stack trace for the crash?

The system should keep track of the application crashes somewhere, but it will probably contain very little details. If the game doesn’t catch and report anyhing to the editor you are basically left guessing. Try figuring out what in game actions triggers the crash. Try running on another mac or on windows or in browser.

Also try running from the command line.
Unfortunately I know nothing about MacOS so I can’t give you specifics beyond including the --verbose tag.

Have a look in your apps dir for Console; it lets you browse system crash reports and the system logger.
