Looking for a Godot Coder to Work With

Hey! I’m a pixel artist, animator, and game designer, and I’m looking for a Godot coder who’d be interested in teaming up with me on some small games.

I’m mainly focused on art and design, so I really just need someone who enjoys the coding side and wants to build things together. to just make some fun games

If you know Godot and want to collaborate that would be awesome :slight_smile:

Also please leave a comment if you are at all interested and you know how to make games in godot

If you want to collaborate with someone I’d say your best shot is finding newer threads about someone’s project, explaining your skillset more thoroughly and asking if they want help.

Om a seperate note this sounds kinda stupid but the Monkanics discord is full of active Devs for different games, ask there if you don’t find any luck on the forum.

It may help to post a resume/portfolio of some sort too, a stranger is going to want to know your skillset too; and if they dedicate their time to a project that you would be dedicated too. Collaborative efforts are a two-way street.

I very much do, I love to help out on the forum. I have my own team and a full time job, so I don’t have bandwidth to take on large projects, but again I would help out if you post on the forum.

I mean I cant really recommend people well because many jsut dont want to work with others, I think you could maybe ask @istubbdmytoe . But as said I cant really recommend anyone well. Also make sure to jsut in a friendly way ask, dont badger anyone

I think you should consider what others have recommended, and put up more info about you, your project, how much you know etc…
It’s very hard for anyone to dedicate time to something they know absolutely nothing about. Nobody wants to spend multiple days or even weeks working on something which then suddenly gets abandoned or ghosted.

yeah thats another reason im hesitant about recommending anyone.
Collabing with someone then they leave can kill a project.
