There is very interesting demo of 3d pixel art with nice visual.

I have a few questions:

  1. How to make such rays that appear in the first seconds
  2. How to make the same rich and bright lighting, for some reason everything looks dull for me. Does it depend on the texture itself or the light settings?

What I managed to do (youtube demo):
I made something like clouds, and as you can see, the picture is quite dim, this is with the HDR turned on, if you turn it off, the colors seem to be restored, but then the glow stops working

Yes, I have 2D instead of 3D as in the video, but is it possible to implement something similar in 2D?
